MAYFIELD & BELOV complies with both the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries to the United States.  When we transfer your personal data to from the European Economic Area (EEA) to countries outside the EEA, we make use of standard contractual clauses which have been approved by the European Commission. MAYFIELD & BELOV has committed to cooperate with the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved Privacy Shield complaints concerning personal data transferred from the EU.

Under certain limited conditions, if your complaint is not resolved through these channels, it may be possible for individuals to invoke binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel to be created by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission. MAYFIELD & BELOV INC will comply with all investigations and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

MAYFIELD & BELOV is responsible for the processing of Personal Information it receives under each Privacy Shield Framework and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. We comply with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
